Nice 30ish mile ride down to Centerville Delaware. You can stop in Centerville for a meal at Buckley's Tavern or a snack at Centerville Place Cafe. Along the route are two of the local attractions, Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Museum of Art as well as a winery.

Route Details

This ride takes you through the picturesque [Brandywine Valley](https://www.brandywinevalley.com/), home to many of the regions famous museums, historical landmarks, extravagant botanical gardens and more.

## The Route
The ride starts in West Chester and heads southeast, eventually turning south toward Delaware. As you head south you will pass @poi[Longwood Gardens](88206053) just outside Kennett Square, PA. You will continue south into Delaware eventually ending up in [Centerville Delaware](https://www.centrevillede.info/). You can stop in Centerville for a meal at [Buckley's Tavern](https://buckleystavern.com/) or a snack at @poi[Centerville Place Cafe](88206055).

After Centerville, you head east before heading north on Creek Road (Rte. 100) which follows the Brandywine Creek most of the way back to West Chester. You will pass @poi[SIW Vegetables](88206057) a wonderful farm stand along the way. In Chadds Ford you will pass the @poi[Brandywine Museum of Art](88206058) home of the renowned for its holdings of the Wyeth family of artists.

From Chadds Ford you continue on Creek Road until it merges with Lenape Rd. on the outskires of West Chester. The route turns left off of Lenape Rd and winds through suburban West Chester until you reach downtown.

## West Chester Breweries and Restaurants
There are three breweries in downtown West Chester including [Iron Hill](https://ironhillbrewery.com/location/west-chester-pa/), [Artillery](https://artillerybrewing.com/west-chester/) and[ Wrong Crowd](https://wrongcrowdbeer.com/) but check the hours at Arillery/Wrong Crowd they have limited hours. There are also many [restaurants](https://www.downtownwestchester.com/restaurant-directory/) within walking distance.

## Parking
There is lots of parking in West Chester including [garages and lots](https://www.west-chester.com/Facilities?clear=False) and metered parking is free on Saturdays until 5 pm and all day Sunday. You can also park for free by heading a a few blocks north from downtown and park on the street near @poi[Barclay Park](111048604).
