This route is primarily composed of gravel dirt road with some mix of paved roads. The route takes you into the heart of the Temecula Wine Country and has some steep elevation that reveals epic views of the valley and surrounding area.

This ride is mostly gravel with some narrow two lane road-paved sections. There are approximately (12) steep climbs. It is recommended that you are in good physical condition for this route. The best place to park and start for this ride is at Sage Rd. and Red Mountain Rd. in Hemet.

* There are approcimately (12) significant climbs and decents on this route
* At the beginning and end of thee route you will be riding on @slice[Sage Rd.](d,48402.8,51005.4), which is a narrow two lane road with a small shoulder.

* This route can be ridden pretty much year round. If it has rained recently, best to give a couple of days for roads to dry out.
* Recommended equipment and attire: Make sure you bring plenty of nutrition, water and a repair/flat kit. Recommended attire depends on time of year.
