This 100 % paved Baja California cycling route starts in San Diego, crosses into Mexico via the Tecate border, and zigzags between the Pacific Coast and Gulf Coast, passing Ensenada, San Felipe, Guerrero Negro, Loreto, and ending in La Paz. It offers coastal scenery, desert stretches, mountain climbs, whale watching in Guerrero Negro, and friendly towns, with options for wild camping, budget lodging, and affordable food options. (less)
