Route Details

Multiple rollers make this a fairly challenging route. A hook around the northwest side of Erin on all paved roads. Major climbs include Hwy#25 for a long steady climb, then Hwy#22 has the largest array of the big rollers, save energy for the final "8 Line" climb before a stop in Erin for coffee and treats, the return route taking 9th Line South to 32nd Side Road West towards Ballinafad all the way to 4th Line for a fast Southern route back to the start.

# Route

* Parking located at Perenial Drive at the Marco Muzzo Park. You could also shorten the route by parking further North at @poi[The Hornby Park](1509625)
* You will be 5km away from country roads.
* The first 10 km will mostly be flats until the rolling hills start before the escarpment climbs
* Major climbs @slice[Hwy#25 climb to Speyside](d,27377.29,31306.24) & @slice[The Wellington Hwy#22](d,63918.06,81703.68) 
* Rolling farm land & pastures

# Notes

* Take care crossing @poi[Hwy#7](1509515) & @poi[Hwy#124](1509518) after the little town  of Everton.
* Mid season to late fall is the best time to go. 
* Best to ride on weekends
* Recommended road bike
* Challenging route requires higher fitness level to enjoy route.
