This route takes the rider over the Wisconsin River, up to the top of Rib Mountain and finishes with a climb of Foxglove Rd. A short loop with some good elevation.

This is a great urban climbing route through the Town of Rib Mountain near Wausau.  Even though it is an urban route, the roads are quiet and the bicycle accomodations are many.

# Route

* Parking can be found at @point[River Park](d,28.4) in Rothschild.  There are many other places to park along the route if desired.  
* Give your bike a quick tuneup at the [Bike Fixtations](http://www.bicyclewausau.org/about_fixtations.html) located at @point[River Park](d,9.1)
* Climb @slice[Rib Mountain](d,6294.47,10025.43) which has a great bike lane on the way up. (use the full lane on the @slice[descent](d,10025.43,13712.68))
   * Watch your speed on the descent!
* @slice[Foxglove road](d,19319.48,20535.21) is a short but steep climb.

# Notes

* Water is available at @point[Rib Mountain State Park](d,9505.31).
* Be sure to enjoy the view from the top of Rib Mountain
	* An observation tower is at the very top for those wanting the best view
* Stop at [Briq's Soft Serve](briqssoftserve.com) for an ice cream cone!
* Route can be ridden forwards or backwards!
