Cycle beside farmland with a mid-way stop at Michael David's Farm Cafe for a hearty farm breakfast, a slice of freshly baked pie, lunch, or wine tasting. Michael David Winery sponsors many cycling events in Lodi including the annual Giro D'Vino bicycle tour of wineries and wine country, on the first Sunday in November. (less)

This is a seasonal ride timed with the annual migration of the Sandhill Cranes, from late October through February. We recommend you arrive at the preserve at least 30 minutes before sunset. It is an extraordinary experience to see and hear these large prehistoric birds as they flock into the Reserve for the night. **You must have adequate lights on your bike** for the ride back in the dark! Bring binoculars and enjoy this unique experience. This ride can also be done in the early morning. Enjoy a beautiful country ride with seven optional winery stops along the way. Sitting at the edge of the Lodi Airport runway you can watch small planes flying and skydivers dropping from the sky.
