Begin with a gentle warm-up pedal from Barcelona across the flat coastal plain to Gavà. From there, the challenge begins: a steady 6 km climb up to the scenic village of Begues. Cresting the climb, enjoy a rewarding descent through the wooded beauty of Parc del Garraf, followed by rolling hills that take you on an unforgettable loop through Sitges before returning along the Garraf coast.

Leaving Barcelona from Plaça de España and crossing the industrial Zona Franca and Airport to arrive to Gavà where we start climbing to Begues. This @slice[climb](d,22071.69,28290.74) is 6 kilometers long and averages 5.7% with a @slice[section](d,24286.58,24434.43) of 10% inclination. 
At the top you will find a gas station to refill your water bottles. Then it is slightly downlhill, false flat, through the Parc del Garraf.
By the time you reach the @slice[N340](d,47697.18,50534.26) you are already cycling in the Penedès wine region. Shortly after you will be entering the Garraf park again and head direction Sitges which is a good stop for a cold drink on a terrace near the beach.
The coastal road @slice[Las Costas del Garraf](d,71371,83080.11) will bring you Castelldefels and to the last section along the Airport and Zona Franca to Barcelona.
