A relaxed ride with fellow riders of e-bikes (and friends, all bikes and riders welcome). Come on an interesting roll along quieter paths and roads, develop your e-bike knowledge and gain confidence in managing your e-steed on Tassie's bikepaths and roads.
This ride is a scenic tour of the quiet northern end of Bruny Island. We get to enjoy a nice trip on the ferry, and a couple of hours in the unspoilt beauty of Bruny. Once we get off the main drag, the unsealed roads of north Bruny are fairly quiet and easy riding. It is a 43km route. There are some hills and riders will need to be comfortable on gravel. The unsealed sections are sound and well maintained.
We'll meet at 10am sharp in the carpark just below the Oyster Cove Inn, and head towards the ferry by 10.15am.
We'll catch the 10.30am ferry from Kettering. The fare for a bike and a rider is $7. You can pre-purchase by going to https://www.sealink.com.au/bruny-island/bookings/ferry or on the day on arrival at the jetty.
Lunch at The Cafe - Dennes Point at about 1:00pm.
Contact David on davidleighatkinson@gmail.com or 0423241211 on the day, if required.
Note: this is a "fair weather ride" :) We'll cancel by 8am on the day if rain
