A Hilly North end loop from the Lake Forest Park shopping center counterclockwise to North Edmonds, follow Pudget Sound to Richmond Beach, then back Perkins for a fantastic downhill finish. Food and beverages available at the end for post ride reflection.

## Route

Start off going over a @slice[short steep hill](d,72.99,2571.04) then gradually @slice[work your way North](d,2571.04,11423.67) gainging elevation on backroads. Cross over I-5 and @slice[continue West](d,11455.96,17535.03) until North Meadowdale Road. This is a steep @slice[downhill to the water](d,17535.03,18890.69). Be careful the bottom of the hill gets steeper and ends with a @point[sudden stop](d,18880.93)@slice[enter label](d,18890.69,20068.57) sign at a T in the road. Turn right and @slice[follow the road](d,18890.69,20068.57)@point[enter label](d,20032.91) past the gate till the end down by the train tracks. There are porta potties and water there. A @point[small tunnel](d,20035.14) with a stream running under the walkway leads under the tracks and to a great beach on Puget Sound. @slice[Head back South](d,20068.57,28768.47) and stay next to the sound till you get to @poi[Brackets Landing](3844981) just North of Edmonds Ferry Terminal. Proper restrooms and water available. There are several places to enjoy lunch up Main Street if you choose to stop. Head @slice[South out of Edmonds](d,28783.26,36024.12) and work through Woodway to @poi[Richmond Beach Saltwater Park overlook](3888979). After taking in the view @slice[continue South](d,36024.12,39203.24) some more along the sound then @slice[start working your way back East](d,39203.24,47209.72) through quiet neighborhoods. The ride finishes with a fast fun @slice[2 mile downhill](d,47180.2,50725.79) along side a stream. There is a food court on the upper level of the shopping center to reflect on the ride or Lake Forest Park Bar and Grill if you want spirits.
