Most of my rides head west from West Chester but this ride takes you on some of the nicer back roads of eastern Chester County and through [Historic Sugartown](https://historicsugartown.org/).

## **The Route**
This ride starts in West Chester and heads generally east past QVC and the @poi[American Helocoptor Museum](116010348) than towards Malvern and @poi[Historic Sugartown](116010347) and finally through Cheney University and back to West Chester.

In Malvern there is a great place to stop for a bite to eat at the [Malvern Buttery](https://www.malvernbuttery.com/) for quick coffee and pastries or for lunch.

## **West Chester Breweries and Restaurants**
There are three breweries in downtown West Chester including [Iron Hill](https://ironhillbrewery.com/location/west-chester-pa/), [Artillery](https://artillerybrewing.com/west-chester/) and [Wrong Crowd](https://wrongcrowdbeer.com/) but check the hours at Arillery/Wrong Crowd they have limited hours. There are also many [restaurants](https://www.downtownwestchester.com/dine-west-chester-pa/) within walking distance.

## **Parking**
There is lots of parking in West Chester including [garages and lots](https://www.downtownwestchester.com/parking-downtown-west-chester-pa/) and metered parking is free on Saturdays until 5 pm and all day Sunday. You can also park for free by heading a a few blocks north from downtown and park on the street near @poi[Barclay Park](116010350).
