A combination of two commuter routes taking you through the center of Randers - and you will just have one traffic light crossing!

A [Cycle Super Highway](http://www.supercykelstier.dk/concept) is a cycle highway, where the commuters’ needs have been given the highest priority. This route is not constructed aiming at being a Cycle Super Highway but it will feel like such, as you can ride along with very few stop. Even going through Randers, you just need to pass one intersection with traffic light.

North of Randers, it is all pavement except a few hundred meters. Leaving Randers going south, it is at current all well compressed fine gravel, but it has been decided to pave this part too.

With pavement on the route from Randers to Langå, it will become an exceptionel commuting route isolated from traffic in beatiful nature along the only river in Denmark and taking you straight into city center.

# Route

* A bike path goes through the @slice[residential area in Spentrup](d,0,1326.22)
* From Spentrup to Hadsundvej, you will ride on perfect pavement where there was @slice[formerly a railway track](d,1964.95,4935.57)
* Coming into Randers, after a @slice[few hundred meters of dirt road](d,7697.55,7817.32), you will catch a @slice[paved path running along a small stream](d,7828.43,9703.4).
* Riding along the harbour, you should @point[cross to the wrong side of the road](d,11033.01) before meeting an intersection.
* Cross a combined foot and @point[bicycle path bridge](d,11537.02).
* Here is the only @point[intersection with traffic light](d,11760.63). Well marked how you must position yourself to cross.
* Even if you are busy, you will still enjoy the view from @point[Den Blå Bro](d,12529.36) (The Blue Bridge)
* Passing [The Rain Forest](http://www.regnskoven.dk), follow the path until a viaduct – turn right and use the @point[ramp with a hairpin turn](d,13126.62). 
* @point[From this point](d,15281.53), it will all be dirt or gravel track but of good quality – in dry weather, I have done the route using my road bike.
* It is possible to cross the river using a @poi[footbridge](1146128) and different track will take you back to city centre.
* This detour just to mark how to @poi[access Fladbrovej](1146124).
* Be careful not to@point[ miss your left turn](d,21746.8) – if you cross railroad tracks you missed it.
* From the end of this route, you could @poi[continue towards Silkeborg](1146122) – instructions follows in a short time.

* Guiding LED lamps will be installed between Randers and Langå when the path is asphalted.*
