Route Details

This route begins and ends at the U.S. Post office in the tiny Grant County hamlet of @point[Corinth, Kentucky](d,7.47) and covers southern Grant County and northern Scott County. It traverses very @photo[scenic, low traffic, rural roads](977116) in good condition and has a short @slice[side trip into the town of Sadieville, Kentucky](d,34358.79,35917.82).  Full services are available at the truck stop just before Corinth on KY 330.

The Corinth post office was first established in 1868, but the Corinth community was identifiable from the late 1820’s by the Corinth Christian Church, organized in that time period.

The @point[City of Sadieville](d,35135.89) was incorporated in the year of 1880 and named for Mrs. Sadie Pack, one of the most highly honored citizens of Scott County. The city is built around Eagle Creek and on a railway that was once the greatest and most lucrative in the south.
