Visibilities

Assets like routes, trips, events, and collections have a visibility attribute controlling who can access them.

User-owned assets:

• public - accessible to everyone
• followers_only - accessible to the owner's followers
• mutual_followers_only - accessible to followers the owner follows back
• private - accessible only to the owner

mutual_followers_only replaces friends_only.

Organization-owned assets:

• public - accessible to everyone
• members_only - accessible only to organization members
• managers_only - accessible only to organization managers

Organizations have no follower levels: an organization asset set to followers_only or mutual_followers_only is stored as members_only. Route and trip updates accept only the values listed for the owner.
