Seven. U.P. Tour Day 2. Sunny, cool at start and a bit windy, just a perfect biking day! All road ride on the Cross Bikes. Started at Tahquamenon Falls SP, highway to Paradise, then up to Whitefish Point light house. Did a quick tour then back to Paradise for lunch (whitefish of course) in Paradise at Brown Fisheries Fish House - so good. Roads back to Tahquamenon Falls - Tony, Dave and Rick walked down to the Falls, Scott and I hung back for brew at the Brewery. Back to the cabin then did a ~ 90 minute canoe ride from Newberry to Scott's cabin. Did some .45 pistol shooting, Tony gave Dave and Rick fly fishing lessons, some ATV riding on the drive and up the ridge. Pastie dinner at the cabin and hit the Sauna. Exhausting but full and fun day! Tony, Scott, Dave and Rick. UP Day 3 was a rainout but we still had a great day. Slept in (exhausted from 2 hard rides in a row), met Scotty's mom in Newberry, drove up to Grand Marais on Lake Superior for lunch at the Dunes Saloon - Lake Superior Brewing Co, then drove over to Deer Park on the Grand Marais Truck Trail (Burma Rd per Scotty). Finished up with Pizza at the Pine Stump. By then the rain had stopped and we were able to get a camp fire going before turning in.
