Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

original plan: head to drummoyne, loop back to iron cove and back to the start with some variations. in the end... well, the map shows that.
That's certainly a decent ride. I see you got a bit lost a couple of time :)
one was the stop for lunch where we originally meant to turn back, but yes, there were a couple of times where i only knew the general direction i wanted to go and none of the specific streets or ways - particularly at homebush bay drive and not remembering anything about the waterfront at abbotsford bay.
it's a really nice bit of a ride from blaxland riverside park all the way to parramatta, though (in fact anything through all the parklands around homebush is nice riding!).
I presume the lunch stop was at Drummoyne? It's been a long time since I rode around Abbortsford and I recall getting lots a couple of times.
I don't suppose that the Silverwater Road section was nice :)
yep, that's where we had lunch (i remembered there was a bakery there when we rode that way with james once, and luckily we found it - or another).
the silverwater road section was very short - the bike path loops under the bridge, takes you over it and whisks you away, but for that stint over the bridge it's noisy and smelly.
