Out

Met two other cyclists. They had a big dog come running at them down at the end of Marsh road. One climbed a tree, and the other stood his ground. Dog broke off and ran back away, but left them both somewhat shaken.

They told another story from a few years back. One lost brakes, charged down the hill to the bridge, and flipped over the side onto the rocks in the dry creek bed below. Broke a pelvis and several other bones. Buddy pulled him to flat ground, then rode back up the hill for help. (No cell coverage). He's healed and back out, ready to share the story. Be careful out there, and check your brakes regularly.
