Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I started out today knowing I would be climbing for about two miles. After the first mile, I the front wheel seemed to be loose. I wondered if I was just pulling, but it was different. I was looking to see why but could not. At the top of the hill I got off the trike and tried to shake the wheel and check things out. Everything was tight and in place. I continued my ride. I could still feel the wobble especially when pedaling really fast. I continued to look, but couldn't figure it out. I checked out the shock that is on the top tube because it seemed that the whole front half of the frame was wobbling. The shock seemed solid in place.
When I got home I checked the lower pivot point of the suspension where the two pieces of the frame are attached. The hinge bolt, for lack of a better word, was clearly loose. I got my tools out which I got for Father's Day, a multi-tool, and discovered that both sides of the bolt needed the same size hex tool. What kind of poor design is that! A good design would require different sizes so a person on a ride with a single multi-tool could fix it. Luckily, I have more than one multi-tool.
I was able to tighten it up and everything was good. This is the second connection that has needed tightening up since we bought this. I don't know if the shop just didn't put it together well, or if it is just the break-in period and everything needs to be reseated.
I did enjoy the ride regardless. It also took a lot less time than I thought it would when I set out.
