June 30 Toccoa to Clayton

This was such a massive disappointment. The road up out of Toccoa was supposed to be a fantastic and tough climb up into the mountains. It was supposed to be a 32 mile climb with plenty of challenge but a short distance with a big reward. Instead this road was just incredibly dangerous with no should whatsoever, short sight lines due to the steep and curvy terrain, and then pouring rain on top of all that. I ended up literally walking in the grass in several areas because the traffic was going full highway speeds and it would ache required literally riding in the lane. No thanks. This was a huge disappointment.
