Det har vært en fantastisk sommer og det er bare dager siden jeg hadde første sykkelturen i langbukse. Nå er det imidlertid bom stopp og første klippet i surt, vått, kaldt & miserabelt-merket er herved klippet.
Noen erfaringer med bergensk høstvær:
1) stoppet 3 ganger (!) for å tømme skoene for vann og vri sokkene.
2) saft og banan hjalp ingenting, siste timen er jeg allikevel ganske tom og det gjør vondt i musklene på oppsida av låra. Buksa som hang som et kaldt omslag på låra i de verste regn- og vind-bygene hjalp kanskje ikke til å holde musklene i godt humør heller.
3) bremsene som inntil nå har bare fungert trenger en oppstrammer. Alt hva en dag i pøsende regn kan vise :(
4) bekledningen funket akseptabelt, men ikke skoene, jeg ble iskald etter mindre enn en time og var kald i beina sjøl etter en lang varm dusj. Må anskaffe noe sykkelskogreier for skjitvær!
5) briller med blankt glass: gjorde jobben!
Dette skulle egentlig være en rolig tur, men været var så ufyselig at siste 1/2 eller 1/3 ble gasset opp litt, bare for å komme hjem og drikke varm kakao litt tidligere!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
