Training objective: 6-8 bridge intervals with power and maximum effort in each one right to the top at a cadence between 70-75 rpm's (I actually tried to keep it at 65 rpm's for the main part of each ascent).
Lousy sleep last night, so really hard to get motivated to get going this morning, but have to stick to the training programme, so headed over to the Schellingwoude brug for some intervals. A bit of wind against for the North-East intervals (odd-numbered).
Used the lap/split function to mark the ride to the starting point of the 1st ascent, then the peak of each ascent and down to the next starting point for the way back up the other side of the bridge, the peak on that side, etc. ad to stop and wait for the open bridge after the 3rd ascent and then again just before the peak of the 8th ascent going in the other direction. Threw in one extra interval going up the Amsterdamsebrug (there was no way I was going to be beaten by some lady on an e-bike beat me, even if it was set to warp speed!).
