Raining Steady - a good drenching for 7 1/2 hours. Windy. We were diverted around the Santa Cruz River crossing and also around the Sabino Creek crossing. The official times assume that I went over the Sabino River crossing instead of the extra 7 miles since the early part of the race did that route prior to the water rising too high for safety. The total duration time was taken from the official race time keeper. The stopped time was guessed at, so the moving time and stopped time are approximates with the total duration being accurate. When I finished my Achilles tendon was sore again. I have been fighting since the previous Saturday and had just gotten it well enough to attempt the ride. It didn't hurt me too much throughout the ride, but it has been hurting a lot in the two days since. The only other pains are just weary thigh muscles, so none to speak of.
