Glad Jeff made the call to do Sweeney Ridge. That got me motivated to finally do Mori Ridge Trail to Pacifica. I thought I was late to meet them but they were actually really late. :)
Mori Ridge Trail has amazing views and is wide and decent surface but there are several really steep sections.
After stopping for lunch at Dad's Luncheonette for a delicious Hamburger Sandwich and Rose Donuts, made fresh when you order them, I climbed up Harkins Ridge Trail.
By then my legs were pretty dead and the climbing was STEEP. When I finally got to the top, sadly I misread the signs and instead of turning right to head to the North Ridge Parking (Skyline) which was just 0.3 miles away, I saw the sign for Higgins Purisima Parking. All I saw was parking and I followed it. I almost went all the way back down to where I started (on a different trail). That's how out of it I was from the effort.
At one point, I saw a sign that said "not a through trail" which didn't make sense to me and I stopped to ask the next people I saw. Luckily I found out, sooner rather than later, I was going the wrong way. I went an extra mile downhill before turning around and climbing back up it. D'OH!
I was so happy when I finally got to the top and I bombed it home!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
