I'm so glad I brought my vest and arm warmers today. I wasn't going to and I thought I could just suffer through some cold patches. The weather forecast was going to be pretty mild/warm but boy were they wrong. It was really windy and the wind was pretty cold! Even with the layers on I was cold at times.
That said, we were riding super chill which might be part of the reason I was so chilly.
I was fine with taking it easy since I was feeling so tired last night, I wasn't sure I wanted to ride today. And at the beginning of the ride, I just wasn't feeling it. My legs didn't really feel okay until we climbed Redwood Gulch.
The wind also meant a lot of dead leaves and branches were raining down on us - pain rain! It was like Attack of the Trees.
In Boulder Creek, there was a sort of hippie festival (hippie street fair I guess) and there was live music playing - hippie rock. Bleh! Nothing worse than loud blaring music while we were trying to have lunch. FWIW, the band was pretty good, the singer, not so much. Still not as bad as the John Denver guy in HMB a couple years ago - "Rocky mountain HIIIIGGGHHHHH!!!"
I was very happy to get out of there. The rest of the ride was super chill and sometimes chilly.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
