20150224 Tucson Ride #1

Today we woke up in the beautiful town of Oro Valley, suburb and just north of Tucson AZ. The weather down here, (although according to locals wasn't that good), was a real treat for those of us living in the far northwest. Steve & Carolyn are fantastic hosts and their home is amazing. We slept in just a bit today and while waiting for a few rain clouds to clear I went for a pre-ride run of 7.8 miles. That got me warmed up and just in time for Steve, Phil and I to go out and enjoy this very pleasant ride. We have mountains all around us and the desert scenery is beautiful! Very much looking forward to the rest of our week!!
NOTE - I forgot to mention; the little spur to the west was not a result of being lost rather, I had to get a little extra hill work in.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
