Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I see you're in 5th position with 5 rides under your belt! 👊. I know this ride started out flat. Did you try the warmup and it didn't work or just not try it on this one?
I also see that at least one of the riders on the list ahead of you, is pretty unrealistically short on time. The guy in 1st place has 5 rides with a total time of 2:33:52. I say bullshit on that.
I've actually only done 4 complete rides, the 5th one was the one where the app crashed mid-ride. I had to start over from the beginning to get credit for the challenge. I didn't try warming up on this one and still finished over two minutes faster than the previous time I did this ride. I was using my previous ride as the rabbit.
Yeah, both of the guys with 5 rides have less elevation than I do. Even on the flat rides, the guy in first would have to average about 28 mph, so it's either bullshit or he's a pro.
I see he's on top of the leaderboard for several of other rides, so maybe he's just a pro level rider.
And he weighs under 130 pounds.
Or at least that's what I come up with when I divide his average power by his watts/kg.
