Cedartown, Cave Spring, Weiss Lake, Alabama Loop

Not a ride on the Silver Comet but on the roads Northwest of Cedartown. The Cedartown Depot Silver Comet trailhead is used as the starting/finishing point.

There are no killer climbs on this route -- just nice rollers. The biggest challenges of this ride are headwinds (not a lot of cover), the heat and humidity (again, not a lot of cover), and the local free-range canine population. Be prepared for plenty of dog encounters, especially on the stretch from Weiss Lake to GA100 (Mountain Home Rd).
