What started out as one thing morphed into something else. Knew for sure I was gonna ride through the Ag History Farm, across MD 124 and into the Green Farm Conservation Park and then return ... which then turned into "Hmmm, if I can find an unofficial trail into Montgomery Village, I could get to the Greenway mostly on paved trails and paths ..." And so yeah, that happened. But when you get from Mile 10 to Mile 14, now what? Meander back through MV via paved trails, some street riding (Centerway Rd UGH) and dive back into the Green Farm park and then more street until you get to the back of Pope Farm Nursery. Spent a mile turned around after finding the unofficial trail into the 'hoods at 6.1. Shoulda turned more north and picked up the paved trails along East Village sooner. Next time ... Need a better route after leaving the greenway. Probably stuck with Watkins Mill and it's sorta bike lanes but the meandering through Whetstone could be a bit more organized. And Centerway, that area desperately needs trails or bike lanes or something.
