Virgil-Sugar Grove HOT Road Ride 12-14-21

Emonda. Mostly cloudy, cool but a little warmer than yesterday @ 47-50 degrees, 12-13 mph Southerly winds (SE/SSE) with gusts up to 25 mph, much stronger than yesterday. Close to a classic Heads or Trails Ride with ball buster headwinds on the trip South, Nice tail winds on the return.

A beautiful Winter day for December - we're running 10-15 degrees above average for this time of year but the winds have been hell. I averaged only 14.5 mph for the first half down to Jericho road, really picked it up for the return ride, ended up with a 16.5 mph average for the whole ride.

No power meter on the Emonda in the Winter as I'm riding with my winter SPD road boots. Stayed warm, even worked up a sweat. Everything slightly lighter than yesterday's clothing options.
