Fuel EX 9.8. Partly sunny, cold - 19-26 degrees, moderate 4-5 mph Westerly winds not a factor in the woods. Despite the cold, gorgeous riding day with hard packed frozen dirt, low winds and good light. Longest ride yet at Atwood Park and also the fastest average speed. Jack and I stayed close together most of the ride and did most sections twice for the longest ride yet at the park. Some of the dirt started getting soft and muddy towards the end with temps at 26 and in the sun. Dressed for the cold with bib tights, balaclava, 3 layers of upper clothes plus heavy jacket, 3 layers of socks with 3 toe warmers, 3 layers of gloves including my new 45 North full finger shells. Hands were cold for the first 30 minutes (normal for me) but ok after that.
