The Maston Mountain bike trail area is a mixed use area that has the distinction of being the lowest elevation desert trails in Central Oregon. It is is BLM managed, therefore you don't need a forest service pass to park at the trailhead. As you glide through the juniper forests, remember to be respectful not to spook a horse coming and going from the trailhead. This area does get sandy in the dry months so riding during the October-April months is ideal. (less)
