Desert 300k

Rain in Phx! Downpour as we entered Estrella with nearby lightning strike. Hard Rain again at Casa Blanca. Then for the last 12 miles through Chandler, another downpour. 4 of us went out front at the start. Philip and Teo were 400 and 600k riders, very strong. John Gorski and I were 300. Stayed with them until Gillespie Bridge. Go ahead of them in Gila Bend as John ate at Subway and others had 5 extra miles. Teo and Philip passed me going up the hill to SAG that Steve and Debbie Atkins had at Estrella Campground road entrance at top of hill. I had to stay there drinking water and electrolytes for 50 minutes! I was wiped out. Then John and I rode rest of way together.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
