Oceanside to Palomar

Pete and I are the only two this day that rode the entire "extra credit" route. A few guys took the Lake Wohlford detour with us, and then Rob Kelly and another guy took the Nate Harrison Grade detour with us. It was a little harder for Rob than he expected, but he toughed it out. Pete had gone ahead and I backtracked a short way to check on Rob, but he was coming along just fine; Pete missed going around Boucher Hill, and I don't think he cared! LOL. The gnats were a bit of nuisance as we neared the Boucher Hill area and I was glad to have my mosquito net. :-)
