Phoenix Bikes Ride (23-02)

Phoenix Bikes' first "inclement" weather ride, which by their definition is temps below 40°F and/or rain. We had no rain today but it was definitely below 40°F! And when you add in the wind chill, it was, of course, even lower. My Garmin tells me the ambient temperature hovered around 36°/37° for most of the ride. Fortunately, the wind was at our back for most of the first half, but at the turn-around point (Swings Coffee in Alexandria) we decided to bag the option of going all the way to National Harbor and turned to fight a headwind all the way back to the shop. To their credit, the young rides did not complain and it was a good learning experience in cold-weather cycling!

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
