May the Fourth Be With You Ride

Started out cold and wet, was sunny and beautiful out Dry Gulch Road, then closed out the ride in sleet and wintry mix coming up Riverside. It was a GREAT ride!!! Also met one of Mom's neighbors - Andrew Joseph who used to be a bike racer - mostly road but some mountain. I did see a magnificent bull elk along 66. He was way to interested in me so I took a slight detour to give him time to move on so I could pass (that is the little spur off 66 up Mills Dr.) When I came back down he was back to grazing peacefully (but I didn't take a picture). He was in the same ballpark as Samson as far as size.
