Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Got up a little late today. Ended up going for a ride about 2 hours later than usual. The weather was great. Shorts and short sleeves. Somewhat of an unusual ride today, but I was expecting it. I had a tough few days. So, I knew my riding was going to be slightly affected by it. In such, my concentration was in and out at times. But on the positive side of the half for most of the ride. Legs were feeling little absent, but not exactly heavy. Ailments were to a minimum, a little back soreness, but so slight, almost not worth mentioning. Also legs, some soreness, no biggy. Some stretching here and there was needed to keep things in check. I did steady tempo today, no serious digs. Just enough to keep things moving as I uproached the usual dig points. Balance was good, no problems there. There was another cyclist who past me at the first dig point on the way out of Old Town Road. He appeared to be about the same build and shape as I was. He took about 2 minutes on me by the time I reached the top of SS. On the way back, I felt a little more fatigued than usual. Not sure if it was due to the increase in stress, or the weather. Maybe a little of both. The wind was a little unusual, but didn't switch directions. Just a little turbulent, more than normal. Gear-wise, no problems. Only thing is a hint of creaking again, likely to be from the wheels. Will have to reseat the wheels and see if that helps.
