Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Weather wasn't good today, made for a good indoor riding session. I chose the mountain course. As per the previous ride, I tried employing the 8 breath / out of saddle approach. It sort of worked, but not entirely. The climb was too long in mileage and duration. So, I was having to stay in the saddle more so. I felt good from the start. Climbed in good tempo and beat my PR by about 2 minutes. After making the summit, I went to the top, ski resort. That put in an extra 5 to 7 minutes of climbing. From there it was mostly warm down after about 5 minutes, being 1 hour into the ride. I was able to achieve near max HR. Gear is working well. I wore the Fizik shoes for the last time. They felt good. But too much flex, was confirmed. I've since purchased Sidi shoes and will see how they feel when I get them. The screen was tearing on occasion. Balance and form felt like the lean returned. Something about the front wheel turning left of center. Perhaps a shim under the trainer is needed. Ailments were next to none. Some soreness in the palms from hammering out of the saddle. Other notes, I think there were near 2000 riders when I began and about 1600+ when I finished.
