Fuel EX 9.8. Mostly sunny with high clouds, cool and dry - in the mid 40's, some Northerly winds but not that noticeable in the woods. A beautiful Fall day after 3 days of clouds and on and off rain. I haven't ridden at SFW in several weeks and it's a nice change to pure cross country riding. I saw one deer and lots of hikers out. Fairly standard route but I added in an old woodland trail I haven't done in years - I had to dismount and remove 10-12 large sticks, trees and leaners from the trail. I also added in some trails around Bode Lakes that I haven't ridden before. Good ride overall but the woodland trail really slowed me down. I could have easily done 25 miles but chose to cut it short and save the legs for tomorrow.
