Forecast for the next few days pretty dismal for outdoor riding (unless you're into riding on road in the 40s) but today, well now, it was upper 50s! Still pretty wet from two days of rain, so we made do with a dirt road, the towpath and some barely traveled pavement. No way we could ride in the woods. Really a pretty great ride -- minimal wind from the NW and enough sun to blunt the chilly. Dirt road we did both ways was damp but not really muddy; a few potholes with water here and there. And by the time we hit the paved sections, they were dry. Finished with a beer and burger at the Whites Ferry Grill, still soldiering on even as the ferry has been dead for 3 years and seems unlikely to return to life... Body was ... tired. Partly because of good Peloton workout on the previous day and partly because we haven't ridden road-style in quite a while (constant output, not the typical intervals of MTB riding) ... But very happy to be out and about
