Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went riding with Roger today early in the morning. Weather was great. A little cold, but without the bite. I wore 3 layers with leg warmers. I didn't remove anything the whole ride. There was a good headwind on the way out, but on the way back the tailwind was amazing. I think this was the fastest ride I've done with Roger on this course. Probably the 3rd fastest by myself. My back was a little sore going out, it hurt less on the way back. I was able to get out of the saddle and stretch my back, that seemed to help alot. My calves didn't show any signs of soreness. My bike dropped the chain while shifting into the inner chainring. Other notes, there was a dog that chased Roger and I up part of Banducci. Roger was able to fend him off, I thought the dog was going to bite him, but he didn't. Roger seems to be improving, I think we got his bike dialed in and he's got better clothing now.
Update, after looking at the other metrics... This was actually about the 5th or 6th fastest. A good solid ride, nonetheless.
