On a summer-like day, I participated in my seventh consecutive UPAF Miller Ride, which began and ended at Milwaukee's Summerfest grounds. I rode with "Team GLPA" consisting of Gary S., Dave D., Geoff H., Todd D., and me. We all rode the 25 mile Hoan ride. I awoke at about 5:30, enjoyed breakfast quiche at 6:15, and left Gary's house at 6:45 and arrived on-site at 7:15. Our ride began five minutes late at 7:50. Our route crossed the Daniel Hoan Bridge, then continued southward along the Lake Michigan shore to the first rest stop (@ 8:30) to the rest stop and turnaround point in Grant Park (@ 9:20) to the Oasis Coast Guard Station (@10:15) and back to the start/finish line at the Summerfest grounds (@ 10:45). The weather was mostly sunny, with a temperature of 72 as we left Gary’s house to 81 at ride’s end. Winds were westerly and light. I wore Castelli shorts, red Bontrager SS jersey, and LG gloves.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
