This was the inaugural run of La Ruta Loca Randonnee 200k Mixed Terrain Brevet. We had excellent conditions and all riders were riding strong. I had a broken rear derailleur cable on Bolinas Ridge which I replaced right away with one i carried and Carl had his rear fender brake thus trashing it and later the bolt holding his front light came off. Other than that no more mechanicals. The first rider in came about an hour befor me, can't remember the exact time, I came after finishing in a very fast time for me for this route, just under 12 hrs (11:55 my official time) and other riders came after me. All but one starter finished the route within the time limit which is great. Great ride and everybody was happy at the end where we had some homemade soup Rob prepared and also some junk food and a beer.
