32km bike ride round Ottawa

Leisurely bike ride up the canal, via Art Is In Bakery, across the cute Minto Bridges, and back down the river. Lovely cool morning. Epic wipeout in Mooney's bay Park. Must have fainted due to lack of breakfast and then hit a small bump in pavement. Ripped open left elbow and minor road rash to left hip. Fortunately had first aid kit with us. Rest of ride uneventful. K: ham and cheese croissant (awesome), almond croissant (so-so, would not get again), black drip coffee (good); H: cinnamon roll (excellent), white drip coffee (v.good). Must remember not to ride on an empty stomach, fix up handlebar tape, replenish FAK, and bring folding cap next time (too sunny to sit outside).
