Tuesday evening ride with the LBS lads

Matt back from holiday. Also Alfie and Ian. Rest of us included me, Steve, Alastair, Neil and new boy (shit, can't remember his name) Pete, I think. Pete and Alastair led a furious pace - up to 26mph - out of Heathrow. I'm still feeling below the weather so forced myself to follow others' wheels most of the way. Three rounds in the Sun Inn at Windsor Great Park - same pub as last week, a nice, unpretentious pub with reasonable prices. Good social, then home. On the usual lead-out along the riverside at Hampton I didn't have the usual grunt to release Alfie; felt quite pathetic.

But a good ride and by keeping some in reserve I was able to keep up and feel good about the riding.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
