Local Area Mixed Road & Trail Ride 4-27-24

Seven. Mostly cloudy, really warm for a change - mid to high 70's and high humidity (felt wonderful!), SW winds in the low 20's with gusts in the 30's. A beautiful Spring day even with the high winds. No route, just got out and rode down to Oswego then back up and out West a bit almost to Sugar Grove.

A few other cyclists out there but not as many as I would have expected. we had a break in the rain from last night and it's supposed to be dry until after midnight. Tomorrow looks really iffy so I decided to do a longer ride today. Had the 32mm road tires on the Seven so had a good pace. 6th day in a row riding, 145 miles for the week.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
