Beautiful but chilly start on this ride to Bexely on the trail. Fog early on over fields and especially over ponds and creeks. I brought our OSU football tickets for the San Diego game to Marc so he and Jessica can go to the game tomorrow. Stopped at COSI for my routine oatmeal breakfast and ate outside. As I approached the end of the trail at Glacier Knoll I noticed an upright bike in my mirror closing on me. I got to the park and stopped to use the restroom. The guy on the bike pulled in and asked about directions to Baltimore using Basil Western. His name was Chuck and he was on his way to Buckeye Lake to see some of the old canal and visit Millersport. He hadn't been to the area since he was a kid and was excited to ride there. I started to give him directions then decided to just lead him there. We took off down Bowen and he thanked me for guiding him. I got him around Meijer and then said goodbye and good luck. Then around Kingeys and up Hill Rd to Busey where I saw the new Pickerington Park which just is a fenced off few acres with no paved road and a stand of trees. Then back to Diley and home.
