Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went riding with Roger today in the afternoon. Weather was in the 45-55 F. I wore 4 Layers but ended up removing my wind-breaker on the way back. I felt pretty good. Roger has improved alot, I think he lost weight. I struggled to keep up with him on certain parts, mostly on the climbs. There was a nasty head-wind on the way back so we rode in a pace-line on the difficult parts. My bike is working ok with the exception of the little clicking noise when I'm pushing hard, out of the saddle.
I can't believe I didn't mention about what happened on the way down banducci mountain. Towards the bottom of the descent, I felt something hit my neck. I knew it was a bug or something, and they usually just bounce off. This time it was a bee and it stung me in the neck. I had Roger pull the stinger out. I was worried I might get an allergic reaction, but fortunately it just left a little bump. It itches now, I'm going to see if I can put some disinfectant before I go to sleep.
Forgot to mention, my upper calf muscles were hurting on the last stretch of the ride. I had to ride a little on the conservative side to keep it in check.
