Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

This is the second day of the Tucson Recumbent Cyclist's Madera Canyon Campout ride. Randy, Ray, and Geo shuttled Randy's and Geo's cars down to Green Valley. Ray shuttled them back up while I stayed and watched the trikes. The plan was to all four ride down and Randy would bring Ray back up to his camping spot. However, Ray got a call and had to run home, so there were only Randy, Geo, and myself (Kevin) to ride down.
The ride down was a blast! On the upper section brakes were used more than I would have liked, but we were still screaming down the hill.
Geo spent much of the time coasting while Kevin and Randy pedalled for all they were worth to try and keep up. Eventually, the three hooked up in a drafting line with Geo in front pedalling mildly, Kevin next pedalling near his max, and Randy next drafting off Kevin. We maintained this drafting line for a while with Randy eventually dropping off being unable to maintain the speed. I was yo-yoing behind Geo, but hung on to the bottom of the hill.
The last few miles of quasi level riding included some mild inclines. I checked the average speed and it was at 21 mph and change. I was determined to average at least 18 mph for the entire ride so I kept the pace up pushing at the highest pace I felt could be maintained. When Randy said we were close to Walmart, I put in my max effort to get the best time I could. I ended up averaging over 20 mph for the ride! I am very psyched about that.
