Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's warmer today than the past few days. In the upper 70's, winds from the South. I was debating on going to WS or Alpine forest. I chose the Alpine forest. I felt average to start. I was doing easy tempo to the end of OTR. I decided to climb Highline first and then up to the Alpine forest. I did a modest tempo to the summit of Highline. Came back, went up the Banducci wall doing faster tempo. Then the Alpine Forest climb. I felt lively and reached the speed bump land marks in good time. I was near maximum when I reached the 4th bump. From there it was negotiating the last steep section and then down to Banducci. I made my way to the turnout, and took a few moments. I had the camera in 4k mode for the Alpine Forest climb. I changed it back to 1080p. I let traffic by and then headed back. Mostly soft pedaling the downhills and moderate tempo everywhere else. Concentration was somewhat shady in spots. No real, "in the zone" feeling today. But not too bad either. Ailments were next to none. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working great. Other notes, I saw 2 runners and one cyclist today.
