Out of the wind at the King's Head

It was a blustery day complete with yellow weather warnings for high winds the medium agreed to shorten our ride and make for Cippenham and lunch at the Kings Head.
Ten of us left Uxbridge and battled the gusts to Thorney Park Golf Club via West Drayton.
After refreshments Don decided to get blown away to home leaving the rest of us to brave the wind through Langley and Eton to Cippenham and the King’s Head where we enjoyed the warmth and good food and drink.
The return journey with the wind mainly helping us was via Chalvey, Upton Court Park, and Middle Green and when reaching Langley Park Road the group dispersed with just four stopping for tea at Iver Golf Club.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
