Sneak In A Heat Ride

The plan was to start at 7pm and ride into the evening with lights. A little more than half (mile 10) is dirt (other than bridge crossing at 6) and the rest paved trails. But then ... a wimpy thunderstorm rolled through about two hours before, dropped pretty much zero rain and lowered the temps by about 15 degrees. BONUS!

So what could have been a ride at the very edge of our ability to handle heat turned into a really nice evening ride AND we finished before we really needed any lights.

Not a strong workout but being on the bike outside was completely worth it. Better turning pedals than sitting at home...
